The role involves the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with road safety and transport regulations.<hr><h3>Key Responsibilities&nbsp;</h3><ul><li>Driving and operating heavy vehicles such as trucks to transport goods to and from specified destinations.</li><li>Loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage and maintain safety standards.</li><li>Securing loads using appropriate restraints in accordance with safety regulations.</li><li>Planning delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient transportation.</li><li>Performing routine vehicle inspections, including checking oil, water, brakes, tyres, and lights before and after trips.</li><li>Identifying and reporting mechanical issues and arranging for necessary maintenance and repairs.</li><li>Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, fuel usage, mileage, and work hours as required by company policies and regulatory standards.</li><li>Complying with all road transport laws, fatigue management requirements, and workplace health and safety procedures.</li><li>Communicating effectively with dispatch teams, supervisors, and clients regarding delivery schedules and any delays.</li></ul><hr><h3>Skills &amp; Requirements&nbsp;</h3><ul><li>Relevant qualification and/or at least 1–2 years of relevant work experience as a Truck Driver.</li><li>Valid Heavy Vehicle Driver’s Licence (HR/HC/MC as applicable).</li><li>Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and transport compliance requirements.</li><li>Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and identify faults.</li><li>Good physical fitness and ability to handle loading/unloading tasks.</li><li>Strong time management and organisational skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Good communication skills and a professional work ethic.</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;What We Offer<ul><li>Competitive salary of $80,000 per annum plus superannuation.</li><li>Stable, full-time employment with ongoing work.</li><li>Supportive team environment.</li><li>Opportunity to work with a well-recognised and growing business.</li></ul><hr><h3>How to Apply</h3>If you meet the above criteria and are looking to advance your career as a Truck Driver, we encourage you to apply with your updated resume.
